First (very) large order of school uniforms for our women tailoring center

In 2015, Seeds and its local partner NEW Foundation launched this tailoring center as an Income Generating Activity for 15 of the first women that joined our village savings programme (VSLA).

On December 6th 2017, they received their first large institutional order for the center, marking the beginning of a new dimension for our business-women!

Things have already speeded up since. Our business-women have bought the first batch of the fabrics needed for Sironko High School's uniforms order. A lot of work to be done in the coming weeks and a lot of brighter perspectives for the tailoring ladies in the coming years.

The new school year starts on Feb 5th and the ladies are right on time with their uniforms production.
