In Uganda, the training program for women entrepreneurs from the rural village in Sironko has begun! With the support of Seeds, the 35 women who compose the VSLA (Village Savings and Loan Association) called N.E.W. Foundation, will receive training which will enable them to develop their income-generating activities better and therefore succeed in improving their life conditions and those of their families. Budget management, sales management, savings management, the development of ideas for small businesses… these issues will be addressed by the trainer with tailored training methods for these women, often illiterate.
Moreover, Seeds has supported the development of new saving and loans groups. Now there are more than 90 women who are saving, taking loans and developing new income-generating activities!
