OUR VSLA PROJECTS
Seeds is in constant evolution and expansion! We are supporting different Uganda communities through micro-finance projects (VSLAs). We are not only expanding the number of projects but also the location, welcoming recently a new district and having a continuous geographical expansion. Indeed, current groups are willing to renew for other cycles and new groups are willing to take part in the VSLA programs, given the benefits its generates.

Since 2018 (Phase III)
Since the creation of the VSLA programs in April 2018, it has witnessed a phenomenal growth with the project expanding from 22 to an impressive 102 groups.
Since 2018 (Phase III)
Coming to an end of its third phase, the Iganga project has shown impressive impact on women and their communities where they felt empowered, independent, and financially more capable. 71% have seen their status within their family improve.
Since 2021 (Phase II)
Since March 2021, Seeds has trained and monitored 60 groups, improving the lives of 2,400 beneficiaries and their family members, representing more than 16,800 indirect beneficiaries.
Since 2023 (Phase I)
Launched in April 2023, the Luuka project has created 20 VSLA groups. This shows that the success of our previous partnerships are planting more seeds for new projects and even more beneficiaries.
